Millions of people are joining the connected health revolution to become more engaged patients and smarter health care consumers.
The HealthJibe™ Connected Health service, which is part of the RAZCODE Connected Health Platform, allows you to easily and securely upload health information to your choice of online health management services such as personal health records, fitness websites, electronic medical records, etc., whenever a participating healthcare provider provides you with a RAZCODE Image or RAZCODE ID. Typically RAZCODEs are included on receipts, labels, account summaries, explanation of benefit statements, and other health related documents. The HealthJibe service also allows you to connect communications-enabled medical devices to your online health management services.
We are working to promote the RAZCODE platform with vendors of medical practice management systems and electronic medical record solutions, as well as progressive insurance companies and innovative medical device manufacturers. As this effort continues, we expect that you will begin to see RAZCODEs showing up on many of the health documents you receive from your healthcare providers. When you do, it is a signal that you can liberate your health information with your HealthJibe account.
In the meantime, the HealthJibe service provides several tools to help you take control of your health and well-being today:
- Enter a simple OMHE command (simple microsyntax text commands popularized by services like Twitter™) to easily upload your health information, such as blood pressure readings, glucose readings, exercise and nutrition information, lipid profile, etc., to a range of health management services
- Take a measurement using a supported medical or fitness device (e.g. Withings Connected Body Scale™).
Your HealthJibe account will also allow you to access your complete personal health record via your mobile phone browser. Now you can take your health records (and your family’s) with you while on the go, or use them in an emergency situation.
The HealthJibe service is designed to make populating your health records with valid data easy and effortless.
We also take your privacy very seriously:
- all connections to the RAZCODE Gateway use SSL encryption
- all health information uploaded to the Gateway from health IT systems or devices does not need to contain any personally identifying information
- all health information is stored in an encrypted format on our servers while waiting transfer to to your choice of Health Management Services
- all health information is deleted once it has been transferred.
The only information we maintain about you is your email address (user name) and an encrypted password. If you choose to purchase a premium subscription (when offered) we do not retain your credit card information on our servers after processing your transaction. In essence, you can be virtually anonymous when using HealthJibe.
